The Downtown St. Louis Partnership, via the Transportation Committee, works with a diverse coalition to ensure a safe vehicular and pedestrian community and smarter transportation choices that enhance the economic vitality of downtown. The Transportation Committee receives ongoing input about current projects from the City, MoDOT, Metro, Citizens for Modern Transit, and several additional partners. In addition, the Transportation Committee also supports state and local legislation that enhances and protects our infrastructure’s long-term financial stability.

The Transportation Committee is responsible for developing plans and proposals that enhance both the efficiency and flexibility of transportation in the downtown area.

The committee's goal is to assure easy access to and within the downtown for vehicular traffic, public and pedestrian transportation while maintaining a balanced system of public and private transportation options for the downtown.
